Conurbia er en av trøndelags mest lovende hiphop-acts. Gruppa leverer gjennomførte låter, med fokus på tekstinnhold, uten at det går på bekostning av flotte produksjoner eller teknisk sofistikerte flows og tekstoppbygning. Med Trailerpark whiskey (2009) og Plussgrader (2010) viste Conurbia at de virkelig har noe å tilføye norsk musikk, og etter samarbeid med Evig Poesi og Definite på nettreleasen Verdens ende (2011) begynner stadig flere å få øynene opp. Ikke minst har låta Djevelen i detaljene fått oppmerksomhet på nettet.
Gruppas tekster trekker på hele litteraturhistorien, og samles samtidig i et univers som på alle måter er deres eget; Fra det hardtslående, via det tankevekkende, og helt over i noe skjørt og nesten gjennomsiktig, men aldri uten autoritet i framførelsen. Metaforer og allegorier blandes uanstrengt med enkle betraktninger av hverdagen.
Det instrumentale varierer fra Erlend Smithees minimalistiske og mer tradisjonelle hiphop-produksjoner, til He-Mans noe eksperimentelle og svært varierte beats med tung bass, svevende synther og glitchye trommelinjer. Samlet blir det hele til et lydbilde som stadig fornyer seg selv, og som aldri stagnerer. Conurbia presterer gjennom dette å presentere noe for en hver smak, men uten at variasjonen bryter med helhetlige konsepter og gjennomførte albumkomposisjoner.

Delario is an up and coming norwegian rapper/singer and producer. Now lives in Bergen, Norway but born and raised in the Fjords of Hardanger. Been doing music since he was a little kid with a tape recorder. Now runs his own studio where he records and produces for himself and others. Released his debut album Tales of Pariah on Indytronic Records in 2008. He's also released several mixtapes, one EP + been featured on various other releases. Artist on two indielabels: Bonsaiety Records (Norway) and Indytronic Records (International) Has worked with artists from Norway, USA, Canada, England, Wales, Brasil, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands. He is the one half of the norwegian hip-hop group Buck & Del, and just released an album with his good friend and colleauge, ChB (beatmaker). Delario has played shows in Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger and more. His second solo album is also in the works. Delario is the only rapper from the Fjords of Hardanger who raps in english. He's steadily making his way through the industry with his music that can be described as nothing else but refreshing, versitale and of quality. HandyCat is a 22 year old beatmaker from Oslo, Norway.
Growing up she played several instruments and sang, mostly by ear. Aged 15 she got into hiphop and beatmaking, and has been doing it since.
Her beats can be heard as instrumentals, as well as tracks with vocal. Her productions have a hip-hop/down-tempo style with just a hint of elektronika, and are based on samples that evoke a mellow, melodic and chilled feeling. Kjartan Trætteberg, Gaulfossen sjøl, fløyt ned Gaula og ut i Trondheimsfjorden en gang tidlig på 2000-tallet. Kjartan er en underkatergori til Melhus-gruppa/kollektivet Conurbia, og representerer alt i Gauldalen som heller mot det urbane. Inspirasjon hentes like mye fra bygdekultur og natur som fra bygårder og trappeoppganger.
